Speedometer Services performs several services to support their customers needs. We deal in OEM and VDO speedometer parts. A speedometer calibration is performed on all instruments. We construct custom speedometer cables, housings and adapters.

When a speedometer is sent to Speedometer Services it is thoroughly checked out.

A record of the displayed mileage is recorded, then the instrument is disassembled and cleaned and inspected. In addition all speedometer repairs are subjected to a full cleaning, evaluation, and testing before repairs are started.

A+ Speedometer Service trained technician’s have been schooled on most makes and models of foreign and domestic automobiles.


All tachometer and speedometer repairs are carried out in a multi step procedure. The instrument is cleaned, dismantled, all parts tested and compared to specifications and replaced as needed. Then the unit is lubricated, reassembled, and calibrated. The unit is bench tested thoroughly the required amount of time. A final check is performed and an itemized invoice of all repair actions are completed and packaged for shipping.

The owner operator Chris Lamb, started electronic and instrument repair in Los Angeles, CA, over 20 years ago, and still directs all repairs and activities in the technical center today.
